TobyMac - Faithfully

Check out this worship song by TobyMac titled ‘Faithfully.’

“It's been a long year, it almost took me down, I swear, life was so good
I'm not so sure we knew what we had, I'll never be the same man
I'll never feel like I felt before (felt before), it's been a hard year, it almost took me down
But when my world broke into pieces, You were there faithfully, when I cried out to You”

When TobyMac’s son died, he thought that he was done writing his iconic up-tempo songs. But God had other plans for him. Even in the depths of despair, TobyMac’s music would bring healing to him and his family. And his album Life After Death shows just that.

The song ‘Faithfully’ is on the album Life After Death, and TobyMac shares about how he hopes the song will encourage this generation.

“I would encourage them by asking them to give Him a chance to be faithful: Not base their view of God on what they've learned from their parents or what people say online. But to actually give God a chance. That's what I had to do, honestly,” he said.

TobyMac continued: “In this season, I had to say, ‘OK, hold on. I'm going to stop listening to everybody. I'm going to read the Bible, read God's Word.’ And even though it sounds like it was written 2,000 years ago to a whole different culture, I'm going to see if it's really alive. I'm going to take Him at His word and I'm going to read this. I'm going to give Him a chance for some months or some years of my life before I run away, or before I choose something else that looks more satisfying. I'm going to give God a chance. I'm going to give Him a chance to start to speak to me."

“The only way He can really speak to me is by reading His word. And the only way I can really speak to Him is by praying,” TobyMac shared. “So, if I'm not reading His word and praying, I didn't even really give the relationship a chance because I'm not in one yet. The only way you can be in a relationship is if God's talking to you and you're talking to Him, just like a human relationship. So, when I gave Him a chance, like a real chance, He gave me a reason to trust Him. So that's what I would say, is give God a real chance.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Faithfully’ by TobyMac today and it was able to bring you some encouragement.

1 Man Sings Soulful Rendition Of “Tis So Sweet to Trust In Jesus”

Though it appears there are four dapper gentlemen—maybe quadruplets—sitting and singing in this remarkable video, look closer, and you will see that there is just one man singing a soulful rendition of “Tis So Sweet to Trust In Jesus.” That talented composer, singer, songwriter, and one man a cappella group is Kaoma Chende.

Born in Zambia, Kaoma is the fourth of six children and the son of a Seventh-day Adventist pastor. When Kaoma was small, he developed a love for God and music, and he became particularly fond of quartet music. Having been a member of two different quartets between his adolescence and adulthood, he found it hard over time to maintain a group of four as members moved on to other things.

However, when Kaoma discovered a video on YouTube in which a single artist sang all four parts of a song and created a video in which he seems to be singing them all at the same time, Kaoma decided that’s exactly what he needed to do. With a lot of research and study, he learned how, and his videos are amazing!

This video is one of many posted on Kaoma’s YouTube channel, and he’s delighted to use his God-given gift to do the thing he loves while sharing the love of Jesus with others!

Kaoma wears the same suit as he sings each part. He wears two different hats, and he uses slightly different mannerisms with each version of himself. At about 1:10, Kaoma in the middle of the sofa, begins shaking his legs and does so throughout the rest of the video. Kaoma on the left makes and holds a fist for about 15 seconds midday through, and Kaoma on the right seems to be conducting with his left hand. All of the guys have phones in their hands, and all of that is very entertaining, but it is the music that speaks to us!

The song about faith, written by Louisa Stead, was born out of her own personal struggles and loss. Here are four lines from the song

Oh, how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
And in simple faith to plunge me
’Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

What a blessing it is when artists like Louisa and Kaoma share their talents with the world!

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1

3 Brothers Sing Heartfelt Song For Moms All Over The World

Three siblings teamed up, using their musical talents to recognize and thank mothers everywhere for their loving, devoted and sustained efforts.

Mothers are an extraordinary group of people. Not only are they literally giving birth to the next generation, but their love, patience and kindness change the world. All children will eventually grow up and impact the world in some form or fashion. Those early lessons and displays of love from mom will remain with that child forever, influencing their actions.

In a video posted to YouTube, the 3 Heath Brothers sing the “Mother’s Day Song. As the track's name heavily indicates, it’s a tune about mothers. The guys mention their own mother as well.

While performing in the middle of an open field, the three young men sing and play the piano. In the opening verses, the brothers sing about the situations most mothers encounter when raising children. The guys sing about how they destroyed her carpet and the walls and then refused to give her any privacy, even when she was in the bathroom.

In the song’s chorus, the three young men thank their mother for her love and what she taught them over the course of their childhood.

“Thank you for loving me tenderly
And showing me how to be strong
The least I can do after all you have done
Is thank you for being my mom”

In one of the song’s next verses, the guys thank their mother for her faith, prayers, and teaching about Jesus Christ. It’s because of their mother’s prayers, the guys are convinced, that they did navigate and make it through life’s storms.

Mothers, for all they so humbly and selflessly do, should be showered with praise and compliments. They constantly give of themselves to their children without even giving it a second thought.

Proverbs 22:6 “If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old, he will not be turned away from it.”

Couple Puts Christ At The Center Of Marriage With ‘You, Me, and Jesus’

Two talented musicians sing about how they are committed to one another and to keeping Christ at the center of their marriage.

Weddings are lovely ceremonies in which two people vow publicly to stick with one another through thick and thin in front of their family and friends. Marriage, while a beautiful and sacred bond, still brings together two imperfect people. These two individuals will not agree on everything, likely leading to fights and other difficulties.

However, Arbor North, a husband-and-wife duo, sings about how to navigate these troubling times in marriage. In a video posted to YouTube, they vow to keep Jesus Christ at the center of their relationship in the song “You, Me and Jesus.”

The video, lyrics and vocal performances are all beautiful. In the song’s opening verse, the singers mention how they anticipate facing difficult and troubling situations. They sing about how the world can bring down their relationship.

But in the song’s lovely chorus, they mention how they intend to weather the storm and become victorious over whatever the world may throw their way. They will rely on Christ's love, guidance and strength.

“When the waters rise and we face the fire
We’ll rest in our foundation
Hand in hand, and on our knees, nothing between us
You, me and Jesus”

In the following verse, they both understand that fights are inevitable. They are in any and every marriage, but they are committed to working it out, to keeping Christ in the middle of their relationship.

In addition to the touching and moving lyrics, the video is also dazzlingly beautiful. The two musicians, in wedding attire, go through a wedding ceremony and then lovingly gaze into each other’s eyes as they sing.

What a terrific reminder of how a marriage should function. Marriage is tough and hard times occur, but with Christ at the center, those two imperfect people can make it.

Matthew 19:6 “So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart.”

'Holy Forever' Live Performance From Chris Tomlin, Jenn And Brian Johnson

Check out this powerful worship song that invites us virtually to be a part of praising the Lord Jesus. 'Holy Forever' live performance from Chris Tomlin, Jenn And Brian Johnson.

This beautiful song begins as Christ Tomlin starts to sing about a thousand generations falling down in worship to sing to God. The chorus sings:

“And the angels cry, Holy. All creation cries, Holy
You are lifted high, Holy. Holy forever”

Jenn Johnson sings the second chorus, and it adds a gorgeous female vocal line. The harmonies are wonderful to hear. As we witness this beautiful setting of worship to God, we ourselves cannot help but join in the praises of the Savior.

We find ourselves also even lifting our hands in the beauty of this worship to the one who is God, Jesus. He is truly reigning on the throne. This melody and these lyrics are easy to sing along with, yet powerful to proclaim that the Lord is who He says He is and He is worthy of our praise. The angels themselves will cry holy forever.

Maybe you need this reminder today that the Lord is on the throne, and He is holy forever and always. We are His creations, and He is our God.

He is far beyond what we could ask or think, and songs like this minister to our souls. He is so worthy, and total honor and glory belong to Him alone in every area of our lives. When we accept Jesus as Savior, we are His for all eternity.

“To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb, be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever." Revelations 5:13

“Take You At Your Word” Cody Carnes Worship Performance

Check out this final song from Air1’s worship session with Cody Carnes as he performs “Take You At Your Word.” You may find yourself on your feet and singing along with these spirit-filled musicians!

There’s nothing better than a beautiful old hymn. “In the Garden” and “The Old Rugged Cross” speak to our souls, often moving worshippers and sometimes mourners to tears. There’s also nothing better than a rousing, upbeat tribute to Jesus.

Christian singer, songwriter, and worship leader Cody Carnes was born in Atlanta and raised in Texas, and Dallas is where he began making music while serving as the worship pastor at Gateway Church. His solo career was launched in 2017, and these days the three-time Grammy nominee lives in Nashville with his wife, Kari Jobe, and their two sons. The couple now serves in their home church, The Belonging Company.

Here, he sings and plays the acoustic guitar. Cody is joined by a keyboardist, electric guitarist, and percussionist, as well as a dozen or so background singers—hands raised, eyes closed, dancing, smiling, heads bobbing, fists pumping, and emitting joy. They are a pleasure to watch and hear!

The words of the song give them and us a reason to be joyful.

Here is one verse of Cody’s 2022 song:

It's a narrow road that leads to life
But I want to be on it
It's a narrow road, but the mercy's wide
'Cause You're good on Your promise

Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of things that we can be certain about; people fail one another all the time. We can, however, trust in Jesus. He is true and trustworthy! The folks singing, playing, and praising together during this worship session feel that. They know that to be true!

Air1 is a Christian American radio network, founded in 1986 under another name, that has as its mission “to create compelling media that inspires and encourages you to have a meaningful relationship with Christ.”

“Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.” Psalms 145:13

Children’s Choir Sings ‘You Say’ By Lauren Daigle In Cathedral

Several supremely talented young people beautifully performed a Lauren Daigle hit.

Lauren Daigle is one of the biggest names in Christian music today. Already in her young career, Lauren is responsible for producing such hits as “Rescue,” “Trust in You,” and “Thank God I Do.” However, her most popular and recognizable song is, without a doubt, “You Say.”

Lauren’s songs are also popular targets for covers. YouTube is littered with videos of other musicians covering her hits. Once again, “You Say” appears to be the most covered of her songs. One of those groups who performed Lauren’s massive hit is the Rise Up Children’s Choir.

In a video posted to YouTube, approximately two dozen children sing the 2018 track, which experienced huge crossover success. The children, who wear long, golden gowns and suit jackets and ties, sing in an intricately and elegantly decorated cathedral.

The short, one-minute video perfectly captures the group’s outstanding vocal performance of the popular song. Their harmonies are beautiful, with different parts of the choir vocalizing separate sections of the song all at the same time. It’s literally music to the ears of those in the audience and anyone who views the clip.

The children’s performance is terrific and likely to be appreciated by anyone and everyone who is lucky enough to come across it.

On the About section of their YouTube channel, the choir states they are “Utah’s premiere contemporary vocal performance group.” The choir is on a mission to change the world with music, literally. They describe their aim as to “uplift, entertain, and transform our world through music!”

Rise Up Children’s Choir is made up of members between five and 18 years of age.

1 Corinthians 14:15 “What is it then? I will pray with my spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also. I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.”

Trio Of Men Perform Mesmerizing Rendition Of 'Be Still My Soul'

Watch this music video of a trio of men performing a mesmerizing rendition of the song ‘Be Still My Soul.’

The musicians in the video make up the group known as Simply Three, and the members include Glen McDaniel on violin, Zack Clark on cello, and Nicholas Villalobos on bass. The band shared a message on their YouTube page about their feelings on releasing their rendition of the song ‘Be Still My Soul.’

“We're so honored to be releasing such powerful and meaningful videos. We hope our version of ‘Be Still, My Soul’ speaks to you in a meaningful way. Our new album 'All Amazed' is filled with arrangements that we absolutely love, so please check them all out and let us know your favorite track(s) and why. Love you guys!” the band writes.

According to their YouTube page, Simply Three “has been captivating audiences worldwide with high-octane performances since 2010. Acclaimed as ‘having what it takes’ (Boston Philharmonic) and ‘highly imaginative and well played’ (Maine Today), Simply Three continues to receive praise for their ability to impress listeners with a multitude of genres that span from Puccini and Gershwin to artists such as Adele, Coldplay, and Michael Jackson.

By reshaping convention through this style of genre hopping, the trio continues to seek the true essence of classical crossover with original works as well as innovative arrangements that showcase their technical virtuosity and heartfelt musicality.”

In this music video, Simply Three is playing the hymn ‘Be Still My Soul’ while heartbreaking scenes of loss and destruction flash across the screen. But as the song takes a more hopeful turn, a sense of resilience is felt. It is a beautiful and thought-provoking production from the talented trio.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to Simply Three’s version of the hymn ‘Be Still My Soul’ today.

Husband And Wife Worship The Lord With 'Goodness of God' Duet

Listen to this talented husband and wife duo worship the Lord together with the song ‘Goodness of God’ by Bethel Music.

“I love You, Lord, for Your mercy never fails me, all my days, I've been held in Your hands
From the moment that I wake up, until I lay my head, oh I will sing of the goodness of God
And all my life You have been faithful, and all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able, oh I will sing of the goodness of God”

The talented singers in this music video are Caleb and Kelsey Grimm, and they are a husband and wife duo that loves to make music together. They go by Caleb + Kelsey, and they are “best known for their original arrangements of modern worship songs, Christian hymns and duets of some of the most popular love songs of all time.

With 65 million YouTube views & several #1 selling albums, their music is resonating deeply with their continuously growing fanbase.”

Many of their fans online shared their thoughts about how much they love the music from Caleb + Kelsey.

“Utterly, heavenly perfect,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video. “Love what you two do so magnificently; thank you.”

“You make me cry with joy. So much feeling, simply beautiful,” writes another person online.

The song ‘Goodness of God’ is so beautiful, and Jenn Johnson of Bethel Music shared about how the song came about during the adoption process of their son, Ryder.

“During the adoption process, I found myself driving on a long country road. I was just singing to the Lord when I recorded a song on my phone about the "faithfulness" and "kindness of God." I wrote and sang most of "Goodness of God" as an overflow of my heart at that moment,” she said.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to Caleb + Kelsey’s rendition of ‘Goodness of God’ today and it was able to bring you some encouragement.

Listen to this powerful worship performance of the gospel song ‘The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power’ by Jason Crabb.

“The blood that Jesus shed for me, way back on Calvary, the blood that gives me strength
From day to day, it will never lose its power, it reaches to the highest mountain
It flows to the lowest valley, the blood that gives me strength, from day to day
It will never lose its power, it soothes my doubts and calms my fears, and it dries all my tears”

This music video of Jason Crabb singing ‘The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power’ was filmed live at The Mabee Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma back in 2022. Jason’s voice is incredible, and listening to him singing this song along with the other members on stage is very moving to hear. What an incredible message and such a wonderful worship performance!

1 Peter 1:18-19
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

The Piano Guys Perform Beautiful Worship Cover Of ‘Love Me Like I Am’

A group of talented musicians covers one of the most popular songs to come out of Christian music within the last couple of years.

Performing another musician’s songs, especially when the band or track is widely known, is always a tall task. Listeners will inevitably judge the cover against the original version. It’s a natural reaction because that’s the version listeners are familiar with since it came first.

However, one group of musicians may not run into the same issue that other performers may encounter when covering songs. The Piano Guys, as their channel’s name indicates, perform piano instrumental covers of popular tracks.

In a video posted to YouTube, The Piano Guys covered “Love Me Like I Am” originally by For King & Country. It’s a beautiful and dazzling cover, which makes for an easy and repeatable listen. Even without the lyrics, one can still appreciate the artistry and talent to pull off such a cover.

Others commented on the YouTube video and mentioned their love and overwhelming support of The Piano Guys’ instrumental performance of For King & Country’s hit.

“I’m 13 years old and I’ve listened and loved Piano guys and For King and Country since forever!! This is beautiful thank you!” one person posted.

“Yes. A peaceful, calm, down to earth, godly, fun and no drama kind of love,” a second YouTube user wrote.

“Beautiful rendition. Thank you for sharing joy,” another person added.

The group is composed of four guys who enjoy making instrumental music. The About section on their YouTube channel states their mission is to “inspire and spread hope through incomparably imaginative piano music videos filmed all over the world.”

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.”
