Greetings my fellow vacation thrill seekers! The Christmas season always brings me joy! I love buying presents for my children, I love decorating the house and I love seeing their faces as they unwrap each gift. But seasonality got me thinking about the “visitor seasons” of every place in the world. I’m not talking about the weather, I’m talking about the cyclical patterns people visit destinations. As you research new places to visit you may be wondering “how crowded is that place?” Well, think of it this way, every place has a peak, valley and shoulder season. And the organization that is familiar with these figures is the official tourism bureau. Every city, state, country and almost every town has one. To find them online, do a search for the name of the place you wish to visit plus the letters C-V-B. Happy hunting and have a fantastic week!
