The identities of some of the victims who were killed when 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar drove his truck through a crowded street of people in New Orleans are starting to be released.

18- year-old Nikyra Cheyenne Dedeaux was a nursing student from Gulfport in Southern Mississippi. Her mother said she wasn’t supposed to be there, but she snuck out.

28-year-old Nicole Perez was a deli manager who had recently moved into a new apartment with her four-year-old son.

37-year-old Reggie Hunter was a warehouse manager and devoted father of two from Baton Rouge.

28-year-old Tiger Bech was from Lafayette, Louisiana, and played football for Princeton University.

Police say Jabbar drove around a police barricade at about 3AM on New Year's morning. They found multiple explosive devices in Jabbar’s truck and in the French Quarter. Jabbar also had an ISIS flag inside his truck.
