At one of the earliest iterations of YWLS, Charlie explains what made Washington, Jefferson, and Hamilton so much more remarkable than conquerors like Napoleon or Alexander the Great. Simple: Because they built a limited government that would live beyond them, rather than maximizing power for themselves and their descendants. And as a result, the American republic has blossomed to be the greatest nation in history.
