Pelosi Says Democrats Will Raise Taxes

Just in case there was doubt in anyone’s mind about whether Democrats would seek to raise taxes if they regain power in Congress, Nancy Pelosi made that crystal clear in a recent interview.
Hot Air reports during a talk on Politico’s “Playbook Interview,” host Jake Sherman asked Pelosi if the GOP claims that Democrats would raise taxes was correct.
Pelosi responded by saying, “That’s accurate.”
Pelosi, who famously pushed to pass Obamacare “so that you can find out what’s in it,” then went on to claim the GOP tax cut bill was passed “in the dark of night and the speed of light.”
Pelosi actually helped to lead an effort from Democrats for months with cries like “Kill the bill, don’t kill us!” leading up to the eventual passage of the tax bill.
