After weeks of Democrats and left-wing women’s groups denouncing the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, the newly confirmed Justice has already fulfilled one of his promises.

The Week reports Kavanaugh had previously tried to reassure Democratic senators who said they feared his stance on women’s rights, especially abortion rights.

Kavanaugh said at the time that he had four female law clerks ready to work for him “on a moment’s notice.”

Sure enough, Kavanaugh was already on the job Sunday morning with the Court's first-ever all-women team of law clerks by his side.

Kavanaugh kicked off his Supreme Court career today with a case about crimes involving firearms.
