In the Western world, most of the images we see from Africa lead us to view this continent and its people almost exclusively through the lens of calamity. Famine, starvation, disease, poverty, war; these are the themes we commonly patch together to form our view of Africa.
True Africa, the first published work by world-renowned photographer David Sacks, tells the rest of the story. Comprised exclusively of images from our Portraits of Hope collection, all proceeds from the sale of this book will be invested directly into the mission of Covenant Mercies.
