'Angel Band' The Oak Ridge Boys Live Performance

Praise the Lord as The Oak Ridge Boys sing a rousing rendition of ‘Angel Band.’ This classic hymn started as a poem. Decades later, it was set to music and became the song we know and love today.

Countless artists have covered the famous tune, most notably The Stanley Brothers and Emmylou Harris.

The song was even featured on the soundtrack to the hit 2000 film O Brother, Where Art Thou?

“My latest sun is sinking fast, my race is nearly run
My strongest trials now are past
My triumph is begun
Oh come Angel Band”

The Oak Ridge Boys are known for their unique blend of country music and gospel. This iconic group consists of Duane Allen singing lead vocals, Joe Bonsall singing tenor, William Lee Golden with his baritone voice, and Richard Sterban singing deep bass. They all joined the group at different times, but this particular lineup of men have been together since 1973.

Today, the men are at Gaither Studios for a live performance of the classic hymn ‘Angel Band.’

“Thy holy ones behold they come
I hear the noise of wings
Oh bear my longing heart to Him who bled and died for me
Whose Blood now cleanses from all sin and gives me victory”

What a beautiful reminder that there is hope in the arms of the Lord.

Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

5 A Cappella Men Of Home Free Sing “Forever and Ever, Amen”

Take a listen to the five-man A Cappella group, Home Free, as they sing “Forever and Ever, Amen,” and prepare to be moved to a wedding kind of mood!

Country music superstar Randy Travis recorded “Forever and Ever, Amen” in January of 1987. Released in March of that same year, the song became Randy Travis’s third No. 1 single on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles chart. The song was written by Paul Overstreet and Don Schlitz, and it has been played at countless wedding ceremonies and celebrations over the years.

Watch as Home Free does their own rendition of the classic, adding four extra voices to the traditionally solo song.

Adam Rupp, Rob Lundquist, Tim Foust, Austin Brown, and Adam Chance are the members of Home Free, which originated in Mankato, Minnesota, and they are lined up in that order in the video. Adam Rupp is the beatbox star, Rob and Austin are tenors, Adam Chance sings baritone, and Tim takes the lead on this song. Together, the five make perfect harmonies—like any marriage following the mantra of Mr. Travis’s perennial favorite!

The song tells the story of a man who has left behind his player ways and is now ready to settle down. He’s pledging his undying love and affection to his girl, even when in the distant future her hair turns gray; however, Tim’s expression at 1:43 would seem to indicate otherwise! He’s teasing, of course!

Home Free adds an element of earnestness to the lyrics that are already wonderfully sincere! But, don’t get any ideas—these fellas are all taken!

The song is catchy and a toe-tapper, for sure. But, it also touches the heart of every person in love, and, particularly, those starting the ultimate adventure of marriage! Home Free does the song justice!

Check out the comments below the video to get a sense of just how impactful the tune has been over the years. Then, check out the concert schedule for Home Free. An evening with them would make a great night out with your heartthrob or honey!

“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.” Proverbs 3:3

12-Year-Old Sings A Cappella Hymn 'How Great Thou Art'

This is a precious video of a young boy singing. The 12-year-old sings an A Cappella hymn, “How Great Thou Art.”

At the start of the video, we see young Cormac in front of a colorful blue screen. He is angelically singing one of the most classic hymns of all time. His voice is pure and innocent. He sings with such confidence and humility.

He is a precious boy. He can hit high notes effortlessly and soars. His falsetto is truly impressive.

What I love about Cormac is the way that he smiles as he sings and the intensity in his eyes. This boy is worshiping the Savior with this beautiful rendition of this hymn. It takes a lot of breath support and expertise to sing this song well and Cormac nails it.

The boy has a controlled power. His voice is a pure sweetness to the ear. If you ever heard an angel sing, I imagine the angel would sound like Cormac. This boy is an adorable worship leader in this clip.

The sweetness and vocal purity of Cormac remind us of how gentle and kind our God is with us. He loves us so much, even when He is disciplining us, He does so as a loving Father. God truly is amazing and He is beyond our thoughts.

As we reflect on His holiness through this song, may Cormac’s precious voice remind us of the goodness and the compassion of our living Savior. When was the last time you thanked God for His greatness? Take a moment now as you hear this beautiful song to worship our great God.

“Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, And His greatness is unsearchable.” Psalm 144:3

There will be joy in the morning, there will be joy in the morning”

Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name. For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

'Then Came The Morning' Ernie Haase Signature Sound

Listen to this wonderful performance by Ernie Haase & Signature Sound of the song 'Then Came The Morning.'

“They all walked away, with nothing to say, they'd just lost their dearest friend.
All that He said, now He was dead, so this was the way it would end.
The dreams they had dreamed were not what they'd seemed,
Now that He was dead and gone. The garden, the jail, the hammer, the nail,
How could a night be so long. Then came the morning, night turned into day;
The stone was rolled away, hope rose with the dawn. Then came the morning,
Shadows vanished before the sun, death had lost and life had won, for morning had come.”

What a fantastic performance. The group starts off singing the beginning of the song in the dark, and then they step into the light as they continue with the verses. And their harmonies are out of this world!

“I always cry listening to this wonderful song and the power of the lyrics. Ernie Haase & Signature Sound do an incredible performance every time! Love y’all so much,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video.

“I honestly didn't think anyone could sing this as well as the original but Ernie Hauss & Signature Sound have proven me wrong. Great job!” writes another person online.

'Then Came The Morning' was written by Chris Christian and Bill & Gloria Gaither. And the song was made popular by the Cathedrals, an American southern gospel quartet that began in 1963. The song was included on their album titled Something Special.

When we talk about the world, we’re seeing different things

Watch this incredible performance by Loren Allred during the Semi-Finals of Britain’s Got Talent singing ‘You Say’ by Lauren Daigle.

“I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I'm not enough, every single lie
That tells me I will never measure up, am I more than just the sum
Of every high and every low, remind me once again just who I am
Because I need to know, oh You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak, and you say I am held
When I am falling short, and when I don't belong, oh You say I am Yours
And I believe, oh, I believe, what You say of me, I believe”

'Before You Ask Her' Matthew West Official Music Video

Get ready for all the feels as Matthew West performs his latest single, ‘Before You Ask Her.’ As you hear these words, you will be reminded of the unique bond between father and daughter.

“Will you stay for better or for worse
Will you put her and Jesus first
And always be her happy ever after
Will you let that ring remind you”

Contemporary Christian artist Matthew West has been recording worship music for over two decades. He is a Dove award-winning musician who has given us hits such as ‘Forgiveness’ and ‘Grace Wins.’

Today, he’s sharing a deeply emotional track called ‘Before You Ask Her.’ This song is written from the perspective of a father speaking to his daughter’s potential suitor.

“And even when the hard times find you
It’s the promises we keep that really matter
So, I guess you got some things to ask yourself
Before you ask her, before you ask her”

On Instagram, Matthew wrote about the beautiful message behind the song. “If you know me, you know that there's no greater joy in my life than raising my daughters and witnessing their love for Jesus. My new song, "Before You Ask Her", is a recognition of how much my girls mean to me and how much love and appreciation they deserve.”

Deuteronomy 5:16 “Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you; that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you, in the land which the LORD your God gives you.”

'Now Here (The Other Side)' Red Rocks Worship Official Music Video

Check out the official music video for this beautiful worship song from Red Rocks Worship called ‘Now Here (The Other Side).’

“Where was the darkness, when hope was restored, where was despair
When my God split the shores, where was defeat when the Lord took a breath
When He stood in pow’r, by the grave that he left, nowhere (nowhere)
Nowhere (nowhere), nowhere is the fear when my king resurrects
Nowhere (nowhere), nowhere (nowhere), nowhere was the doubt
When my king conquered death”

What an incredible song with a wonderful message! “‘Now Here’ is a faith declaration that manages the tension of experience and expectancy in its very title. When Jesus met darkness in the world, it’s only response was to run. Because Jesus was the fundamental manifestation of God’s presence and personhood, everything contrary to that expression had no choice but to yield. 'Now Here' is meant to embolden every believer that the incarnate Christ is amongst us.”

This song from Red Rocks Worship is part of their project titled Things Of Heaven: The Other Side, which dropped earlier this year in April. And many people are loving it and have continued to be impacted by the music that Red Rocks Worship is releasing.

“Wow, this sounds great. Red Rocks, you guys make such delivering and anointed music! Love you guys. Keep on working for the Lord,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video.

“Red Rocks, thank you for bringing Jesus back into my life! I now find myself constantly worshiping Him. Such joy back into my life,” writes another person online.

Red Rocks Worship is the worship ministry of the Colorado-based Red Rocks Church that was founded in 2005. The team is comprised of worship leaders and songwriters who have a passion to bring their love of Jesus to people through music.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Now Here (The Other Side)’ today!
